Düsseldorf, Germany—The local branch of UPF found a new way to commemorate the International Day of Peace—by holding a “peace concert.”

Munich, Germany—To mark the 2018 International Day of Peace, UPF-Munich organized an interreligious peace meeting, as it has done every year for the past ten years.

Florence, Italy—UPF held an interfaith International Day of Peace program together with the First Church of Christ Scientist.

Kiev, Ukraine—Thirty-seven children received a Junior Ambassador for Peace Certificate at the Peace Congress with the theme “All the World for Peace.”

Vienna, Austria—UPF-Austria was one of the organizers of a program titled “Perspectives for the Horn of Africa with a Special Focus on Sudan.”

Copenhagen, Denmark—Approximately 200 people attended a UPF celebration of UN International Day of Families 2018, held at UN City.

Amsterdam, Netherlands—UPF co-sponsored a combined celebration of the 2018 UN International Day of Families and Africa Day.

Oslo, Norway—UPF-Norway held a program for UN International Day of Families which addressed the challenges that families face today.

The 2018 observance of the International day of Families focuses on Sustainable Development Goal 16 relating to the promotion of peaceful and inclusive societies for sustainable development.

Stuttgart, Germany—“Family and Inclusive Societies” was the theme of a celebration of UN International Day of Families 2018.

Prague, Czech Republic—The Czech chapter of UPF initiated a study of World Scripture with a discussion of the theme “Love Your Enemy.”

Gramastetten, Austria—Forty-five guests representing eight religious denominations celebrated the 2018 World Interfaith Harmony Week.

Oslo, Norway—UPF-Norway celebrated the 2018 World Interfaith Harmony Week with an event in the Oslo Jewish Museum.

Vienna, Austria—More than 200 people attended a World Interfaith Harmony Week program that culminated with an Interfaith Peace Blessing.

Bergamo, Italy—Sincere brotherhood and intense spirituality marked the 2018 celebration of World Interfaith Harmony Week.

Bratislava, Slovakia—To mark World Interfaith Harmony Week, UPF held a roundtable on “Wisdom Sharing: Our Attitude toward Enemies.”

London, United Kingdom—The power of people of faith to solve the world’s crises was the theme of the 2018 celebration of World Interfaith Harmony Week.

Prague, Czech Republic—UPF, in cooperation with the Christian Community, organized an interfaith gathering on the occasion of World Interfaith Harmony Week.

10 December 2017 – The United Nations on Sunday kicked off in Paris, France, a year-long campaign to honor the foundational human rights document, which next year marks its 70th anniversary.
