Intervention of Dr Hak Ja Han Moon in the 7th Rally of Hope.

Intervention of Dr Hak Ja Han Moon, Co-Founder, Universal Peace Federation, in the 7th Rally of Hope.

In this speech, given on February 2,1990, in Seoul, Korea, Dr Sun Myung Moon calls on North Korea to abandon its plans for military conquest of the South, put an end to their extreme isolation and open their society to the world community of nations, and carry out their own version of glasnost, thereby giving their people the most important freedom, the freedom to worship as they desire, and they must put a stop to the deification of their leader. However, he also calls on South Korea to share the blessings they have received from God with their poorer brethren in the North.

In this speech, given on February 10, 2000, in Seoul, Korea, on the occasion of the celebration of his eightieth birthday, Dr Sun Myung Moon asserts that unification cannot come about through force, but only through sacrifice and true love for those who are suffering in the North.
