On February 8, the World Summit featured concurrent global assemblies of the International Association of Parliamentarians for Peace (IAPP) and the Interreligious Association for Peace and Development (IAPD), two projects of UPF representing a multi-track approach to peace and conflict resolution.

World Summit 2019 featured several side events, including the 25^th International Conference on the Unity of the Sciences, International Symposium of the Hyo Jeong Academy of Arts and Sciences and Segye Times banquet.

The World Summit 2019 featured an international conference on Peace in the Korean Peninsula jointly sponsored by the Segye Ilbo and the Washington Times newspapers.

The 2019 Sunhak Peace Prize was awarded to Waris Dirie and Dr. Akinwumi Ayodeji Adesina at a ceremony in Seoul, South Korea.

The UPF World Summit 2019 was held from February 7 to 11 in Seoul, Korea. 1200 participants including current and former heads of state and government, members of parliament, religious leaders and NGO representatives from 110 nations attended the event.

London, United Kingdom—Eminent speakers from Parliament and religious groups attended an interfaith program held with UPF support.

Prague, Czech Republic—UPF co-organized an interfaith meeting titled “Passing on the Tradition and Faith and the Freedom of Choice.”

Bonn, Germany—UPF hosted an event attended by participants from various religious backgrounds and worldviews as a part of World Interfaith Harmony Week 2019.

Vienna, Austria—UPF-Austria organized a conference on the theme of “Migration and Interreligious Understanding in the Age of Globalization.”

Oslo, Norway—UPF held its annual World Interfaith Harmony Week event in partnership with the largest mosque in Oslo.
