Copenhagen, Denmark –UPF-Denmark celebrated the UN International Day of Peace at Christiansborg Palace, the seat of the Danish Parliament, on September 24, 2023.

 Munich, Germany—Representatives of five religious groups attended a UPF prayer breakfast.

London, United Kingdom—Peace awards were presented to more than 20 remarkable people for their efforts as peacebuilders.

Peshkopi, Albania—One of the first Ambassadors for Peace was posthumously made an Honorary Citizen of the city.

Paris, France—UPF co-sponsored an International Day of Peace event together with the Afghan Peace Dialogue organization.

Tbilisi, Georgia—The event included peace-themed activities for both adults and children.

Bratislava, Slovakia—On International Day of Peace, UPF challenged the public to pay attention to a growing danger.

Oslo, Norway—The interfaith program examined the role of religions in contributing to peace.

Bergamo, Italy—The interfaith celebration was organized together with Women’s Federation for World Peace.

Düsseldorf, Germany—The message "Peace starts with me” was expressed by each speaker in a different way.

Paris, France—The meeting commemorated both International Day of Peace and International Forgiveness Day.
