On 7 February 2026, to commemorate World Interfaith Harmony Week, UPF and the House of Religion, Stuttgart held an interreligious meeting. Hubert Arnoldi, chairman of UPF Stuttgart and founder of the House of Religion, opened with an overview of the origins of World Interfaith Harmony Week and quoted some passages from the Baha’i faith on the topic Peace and Harmony Between Religions.
Arnoldi continued with excerpts from an article by Hon. Newt Gingrich, former speaker of the US House of Representatives, about the threat to religious freedom and human rights in Korea and Japan, with particular reference to the unjust imprisonment of Hak Ja Han, co-founder of UPF, who has been held in Seoul detention Centre since September 2025.
The audience heard four further short readings on the topic of harmony and peace: passages from the Dalai Lama’s book Paths to Happiness (Herbert Marks), excerpts from one of Dr. Sun Myung Moon’s (co-founder of UPF) speeches on harmony (Dr. Manfred Schick), words of wisdom from Prof Young Oon Kim, author of Unification Theology (Karl-Heinz Riesch), and readings from the World Scripture (Margret Belomo).
Moving greetings from Dr. Boran, Vorsitzender von ZWWA (Zivilisation, Weisheit, Wohltätigkeit, Aufschwung- civilisation, wisdom, charity, revival), were conveyed per video.
Then followed a festive water mixing ceremony celebrating religious harmony, and a rendering of You Raise Me Up sung by Hubert Arnoldi.
After a group photo, all of the participants sat down to enjoy refreshments and conversation.
