Larnaca, Cyprus—UPF convened the conference, “Syria: Opening Lines of Communication and Soft Power Approaches to Peace,” in Cyprus from December 17 to 19, 2016.

Bonn, Germany—On the occasion of the International Day of Peace, a program was held to discuss the United Nations and the Sustainable Development Goals.

Bonn, Germany—A German husband and wife who have made their home in Lebanon shared their insights on that country with a Bonn audience.

More than 80 participants, mainly from Austria, Switzerland, the Czech Republic and Germany, met in the religious retreat Schloss Fuerstenried near Munich. The topic under discussion was the role of the family in Western society and the threat posed by gender ideology and so-called ‘gender mainstreaming.’

On the following day, Sunday, a few new participants joined us. The presentations continued and the main topic was now: Strengthening the Family in a Global Context.

The first part of the conference dealt with Moral Relativism and Genderism.

Berlin, Germany - A European Leadership Conference in Berlin November 15-17 addressed the issue "What Kind of Europe Do We Want in the Future?" (Wie soll das Europa der Zukunft aussehen?). Some 80 participants listened to and discussed 20 presentations assessing and presenting possible solutions to the current crisis of Europe in general and the European Union in particular.
