Pristina, Kosovo—UPF and affiliated organizations celebrated the 2017 UN International Day of Peace by holding a Peace Road event in the capital.

The issue we are addressing is without a doubt of great importance, especially taking into account the extraordinarily dramatic and painful developments in many part of the world, which as such are generating substantial victims of different ages, sexes, ethnicities, beliefs and cultures, or places where they come from.

Gusinje, Montenegro—The Albanian and Kosovan chapters of UPF held a meeting to launch the Albanians Peace Council in the Plav and Gusinje region of Montenegro.

Pristina, Kosovo—Around 90 dignitaries from Albania, Macedonia, Serbia and Kosovo attended a one-day conference titled “Righteous Peace, Sustainable Peace.”

Tirana, Albania—UPF held a European Leadership Conference under the theme “Mutual Understanding and Cooperation for Peace, Security and Human Development in the Balkans.”

Presheva, Serbia - Members of the Albanian Peace Council established by UPF-Albania and Kosovo in November 2013 visited Serbia April 26-27, 2014, to organize a peace council in the city of Presheva, the cultural center of Albanians living in South Serbia.

Prizren, Kosovo - The annual assembly of the Albanian National Peace Council coincided with the biennial election of new officers for the council and for the UPF-Albania leadership.
