UPF Austria Commemorated World Interfaith Harmony Week on January 30^th 2026, at  the UN Vienna in cooperation with several other organisations.

The Universal Peace Federation (UPF) concluded its second Rally of Hope on Sunday, Sept. 27, 2020, which hosted 12 distinguished world leaders, along with first-class entertainment.

It is in these gatherings of concerned and distinguished individuals that one should speak freely. We are talking about Syria, not only one of the most important countries of the Arab world but, until this day, called by Arab nationalities Um al-’Urubah, mother of Arabism.

Participants in the interfaith consultation on “The Prospects for Dialogue and Reconciliation in Syria” in Amman, Jordan, Oct. 11-13, 2013, issued a joint statement.

Sahab, Jordan - Young Iraqi men in Jordan want to be able to communicate by computer with their families back home, but some are illiterate. A new project is teaching them to read and write Arabic.

I want to ask Ambassadors for Peace of the UPF to help make the Middle East a safer place to live. Ambassadors for Peace should work to build a global movement for peace for the sake of others.

Rasoun, Jordan - This year's Discover True Friendship Tour features a project in the village of Rasoun, Jordan, July 8-22. Join us as we renovate the local boys’ and girls’ primary schools and improve the quality of life of the community’s children.

Amman, Jordan  - A football tournament brought together youth from diverse communities.

InAmman,Jordan, Dr. Ghazi Tayyeb got a phone call one day last year from a friend who said, “Are you an Ambassador for Peace?” The soft-spoken former Commander-in-Chief of UN Forces in Croatia said yes.The caller replied, “Prove to me that you are really an Ambassador for Peace.”

The impact of the Middle East Peace Initiative is increasingly visible.

I am originally a Palestinian. My father was a mufti, a judge, and he was a leader in our area. He always protected the Jews from any violence. A Jewish man told me this when I returned to my hometown in 1967. This man also introduced me to his father, who had known my family very well. He told me wonderful stories about how the Jews and the Muslims and the Christians all lived together in harmony and peace. He said there was a beautiful coexistence among our people.

When we talk about peace and the situation in the Middle East, remember that the Lord, or God, or Allah created man to be really brothers, to live in this world under real peace. If we lose true peace in the Middle East, we will lose peace in most of the world, and if we keep peace in the Middle East, we will keep peace in the entire world.
