Since the 1960s, UPF's founders have advocated a future vision of the human community based on interdependence, mutual prosperity and universal values.

We need, in every city in the world, a house of God that … is accommodating to all people of God without discrimination.

We should be advocating for prosperity, peace and security for everyone, remembering that we are all equal under one God.

The “covenant of destiny” is entered into when the shared bond between people is the desire and readiness to lead an ethically elevating and worthwhile life.

Through isolation and separation we cannot create a prosperous and peaceful world. The only way is to interact and get involved in the problems of our society.

Istanbul, Turkey—Ambassadors for Peace and other peacemakers took part in a Peace Values Forum organized by UPF of the Middle East.

Jerusalem, Israel—UPF and the Jerusalem Interfaith Forum held an interfaith study to celebrate the holidays of three major religions.

Haifa, Israel—Leaders representing four main religions met to pray for the healing of the world from coronavirus.

Vienna, Austria—UPF co-sponsored a roundtable discussion titled “Economic Potentials and Opportunities in Afghanistan.”

Giessen, Germany—A refugee from Syria described escaping from his war-torn homeland and his new life in Germany.

In March 2019, Mr. Peter Haider, President of UPF Austria, accompanied a delegation to Pakistan.

Acre, Israel—The national inauguration of the Interreligious Association for Peace and Development (IAPD) took place in Acre city and was attended by religious, political, and educational leaders. 

Vienna, Austria—The president of Pakistan-administered Azad Jammu and Kashmir was the main speaker at a seminar on Pakistan’s future role.

Ramallah, Palestine—More than 20 people, including Palestinian and European parliamentarians, attended an event introducing the International Association of Parliamentarians for Peace (IAPP) to Palestine, held on December 16, 2017 in the West Bank city of Ramallah.

Beirut, Lebanon—The Lebanese chapter of the International Association of Parliamentarians for Peace (IAPP) was launched on December 14, 2017 at the Parliament of Lebanon.

Bonn, Germany—Personal recollections of Lebanon’s people and culture by a German who grew up there were the highlight of a Lebanese cultural event.

Düsseldorf, Germany—A young German woman who moved to Lebanon as a child was the speaker at a program about Lebanese culture.
