Doha, Qatar - The Doha International Family Institute hosted policy makers, researchers, academics, and UN and NGO representatives dealing with aspects of family policy and good practices during a conference April 16-17, 2014.

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques assembled an international conference in Mecca for intercultural and interreligious dialogue and a second conference in Madrid, attended by representatives from many countries. He appealed to the United Nations to support and consolidate interreligious and intercultural dialogue and establish a permanent committee to take responsibility for the dialogue.
