Ohrid, Macedonia—UPF-Albania held a seminar at which 43 Ambassadors for Peace from Albania and Kosovo studied the UPF Principles of Peace in greater depth.

Linz, Austria—In the year of his 200^th birthday, Karl Marx was the subject of a lecture on his life and his legacy.

Librazhd, Albania—Many important figures were among the 35 participants at the launch of the local UPF Peace Council in this eastern Albanian town.

Peshkopi, Albania—With the support of local government, UPF founded a local Peace Council in Albania’s Dibër region.

Fier, Albania—The local UPF Peace Council held an event to commemorate the European Year of Cultural Heritage.

Bremen, Germany—Guests were educated and entertained by song and dance at UPF’s “Africa and Global Peace” program.

Paris, France—UPF marked World Interfaith Harmony Week with a program about an individual who strived to build bridges between Judaism, Christianity and Islam.

Bergamo, Italy—Over 70 people attended a lawyer and writer’s presentation of his first novel, which deals with topical social issues.
