UPF Lebanon collaborated with Sheikh Sohaib and his Association “Olfah” to distribute milk and diapers to the babies and small children, as this was most needed by the families of the refugees in Saida. Due the safety precautions, the members of UPF Lebanon could not go to Saida themselves and the supermarket said they could not deliver the items to Saida either. Hence, arrangements were made with Sheikh Sohaib to pick up all the things from Beirut and deliver them to Saida.

Thanks to the funding received from IRFF Germany, UPF Lebanon was able to give over 100 packages of powdered milk and over 100 packages of diapers to the displaced families in Saida. When all the items had been picked up in Beirut and brought to the school in Saida where all the displaced families are staying, Sheikh Sohaib and his team initiated the distribution of the urgently needed supplies right away.

We truly wish to thank IRFF Germany for their support which made it possible for us to help these families by giving them the milk and diapers, which were desperately needed for their newborn babies and small children.
