Udelnaya, Russia—UPF-Moscow co-sponsored a training session on separating waste for residents of a Moscow Region village.

About 100 residents of Udelnaya attended the program, which was held on April 23, 2022, at the village’s Center for Extracurricular Activities. Among the participants were students and teachers of the children's center.

Welcoming remarks were presented by Natalia Kulikova, a representative of the Center for Extracurricular Activities, and Elena Knyazeva, the coordinator of environmental programs for UPF-Moscow. Then Mrs. Knyazeva and volunteers helped to sort waste and organized an exciting eco-quest, which was attended by children, parents and even teachers.

Everyone was so inspired by the project, they decided to repeat it on May 21, and then make it a monthly event. This event was actively supported by EcoLine-Voskresensk company, which removed all the waste collected during the project.
