Moscow, Russia—Jaan Nissar Lone, an Indian singer and composer, was honored by UF-Russia with the title of Ambassador for Peace.

Mr. Lone was awarded an Ambassador for Peace certificate at the UPF Peace Embassy in Moscow on August 2, 2023.

Following the award ceremony, UPF-Moscow leader Dmitry Samko interviewed the musician for an online broadcast, which received about 300 views Pon social networks and other platforms.

Through his compositions and creative efforts, Mr. Lone has showcased an unwavering commitment to disseminating universal moral principles, strengthening familial bonds, fostering interfaith fellowship, and contributing to global concord.

His recognition as an Ambassador for Peace by UPF underscores his role as a cultural emissary. His creative scope extends beyond music, encompassing various forms of artistic expression that honor diversity and ignite dialogues. He embodies values championed by UPF, advocating for a world where spirituality and everyday life harmoniously coalesce.
