Tirana, Albania—More than 200 prominent Albanians attended a UPF event titled “Art Always for Peace.”

The event at the Tirana Peace Embassy on April 26, 2023, was held to honor eight stars of Albanian folk music with the Ambassador for Peace award.

Shkurte Fejza, Bujar Qamili, Eli Fara, Vaskë Curri, Artjola Toska, Maja, Hysni Alushi and Enkelejda Arifi were the musicians and singers chosen to join the Ambassador for Peace family.

The audience included well-known personalities from the fields of art, culture, sports, politics, civil society, media, and youth, as well as previously appointed Ambassadors for Peace.

Defrim Methasani, a well-known moderator who is the chairman of the Tirana Peace Council, was the moderator.

The greeting speech of maestro Zhani Ciko, the presence of the great singer Irma Libohova and many other artists and personalities gave the event a universal dimension of peace.
