UPF-Moscow leader Dmitry Samko presents an Ambassador for Peace certificate to Samara artist Oksana Tsepova.

Samara, Russia—UPF held a meeting dedicated to the Year of Cultural Heritage of the Peoples of Russia.

Forty-five people attended the event on December 21, 2022, which was held in the Arterika art space in the city of Samara.

UPF’s International Association of Arts and Culture for Peace (IAACP) organized the meeting with the support of the artist Oksana Tsepova, master of botanical bas-relief at the Arterika art space.

In his welcoming speech, Dmitry Samko, the chairman of UPF-Moscow, thanked the Samara artists who have made an important contribution to the development of IAACP in Russia.

The central part of the event was the awarding of an Ambassador for Peace certificate to Ms. Tsepova, the event co-organizer.

Samara Ambassadors for Peace Olga Beketova and Ekaterina Samitina delivered congratulatory and welcoming words and gave Ms. Tsepova a letter of thanks from the NGO Rossotrudnichestvo in the Republic of Turkey.

Dmitry Mantrov, the chair of the Samara branch of the Union of Artists of Russia, then gave a talk.

The event ended with live music and the enjoyment of a cake to celebrate the Arterika art space’s anniversary.
