Lisbon, Portugal—Ambassadors for Peace and UPF partners and friends were the guests at an online Christmas celebration.

We titled the event "a virtual Christmas lunch" – a reference to the current restrictions on meeting in person, because of the coronavirus. A total of 18 participants attended the online meeting, which was held on Saturday, December 19, 2020, under the theme "UPF and Friends."

The program was simple, informal and familiar, and was intended to give the guests a better understanding of the goals, scope and activities of UPF in 2020 (on the international, European and national levels).

As it was an interactive program, the participants were given time to introduce themselves and their respective organization, association, philosophy or religion. They also were encouraged to present ideas, suggestions and reflections for working together in cooperation in 2021.

There was an introductory video about UPF events of 2020; a COVID-19 memorial; musical moments like the song "Hand in Hand"; and a musical compilation with inspiring pictures of the many COVID-19 heroes.

In the end, the testimonies that participants gave about the importance of our friendship and the work of UPF in the world gave us hope for closer friendship and future cooperation.
