Vienna, Austria—UPF-Austria organized a meeting of Ambassadors for Peace to reflect on the events of the past year and set a direction for 2018.

Zagreb, Croatia—Croatia has become part of the international Peace Road initiative with the occurrence of the first Peace March.

Valletta, Malta—About 35 Maltese celebrated their nation’s Independence Day and the UN International Day of Peace simultaneously by taking part in a Peace Road event.

Pristina, Kosovo—UPF and affiliated organizations celebrated the 2017 UN International Day of Peace by holding a Peace Road event in the capital.

Almere, Netherlands—Schoolchildren and their parents took part in the 2017 Peace Road, singing, walking a Peace Labyrinth, and writing peace wishes.

Geneva, Switzerland—The 2017 Peace Road recalled the visits to Switzerland between 2005 and 2011 of the late UPF founder.

Carlingford, Ireland—The 2017 Peace Road event saw 15 participants bicycling to the border with Northern Ireland.

Toledo, Spain—A Peace Road event in the historic city of Toledo included visits to holy sites of Islam, Christianity and Judaism.

Oslo, Norway—The 2017 Peace Road event began with an evening program in the largest mosque in Norway.

Andorra la Vella, Andorra—Andorra joined the global event Peace Road 2017 with the theme of “Connecting the World through Peace.”

Luxembourg City, Luxembourg — On July 16, 2017, a “Peace Road 2017” event was held in Luxembourg, which involved visiting two important places.

Shkodra, Albania—Approximately 150 people participated in the first “Peace Road” event to take place in the northwestern Albanian city of Shkodra

Tirana, Albania—European-level leaders of UPF completed a very productive tour of Albania, meeting both high-level dignitaries and grass-roots supporters.
