On Monday, December 11, 2023, at the UPF Peace Embassy in Bratislava, UPF Slovakia was host to a multi-faceted presentation delivered by representatives from the Scientology Church. The observance of Human Rights Day is a significant occasion for an educational gathering. The focus of the event centred around Article No. 1 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, which asserts, "All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights. They are endowed with reason and conscience and should treat one another in a spirit of brotherhood."
The first speaker, Václav Paul, delved into the topic of "Psychiatry and Violations of Human Dignity" and associated activities. Following him, Miro Lopušný introduced the educational initiative "Human Rights and Youth," tailored for teachers in 100 schools across Slovakia. The third speaker, Štefan Lopušný, elucidated on why and how "The Road to Happiness" proves beneficial for everyone, particularly in communities facing conflicts. Our Scientology friends provided an array of materials, including video films, posters, and brochures, enriching the presentations. The professionalism of the lecturers left a lasting impression on the audience of 28 individuals.
