Lisbon, Portugal—Two UPF Ambassadors for Peace were among 11 guests at a one-day seminar that presented the UPF Peace Principles in greater depth.
The Portuguese branches of UPF and the Family Federation for World Peace and Unification (FFWPU), an affiliated organization, jointly held the seminar on June 23, 2018, at the Portuguese Peace Embassy.
Dr. José Sérgio da Rosa Vieira, the national president of UPF, gave the presentations. The program started with a video about the UPF founders, Rev. Dr. Sun Myung Moon and Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon.
The atmosphere was very high, with group singing preceding every lecture. All the guests were very inspired with the lectures, feeling that their longtime religious questions were being clarified. The final lecture touched upon the World Peace Blessing, which brought a very positive response.
Plans are being made to give another Peace Principles seminar in the coming weeks.
