Bilisht, Albania—Ten local dignitaries became Ambassadors for Peace at a program which also saw the founding of a local UPF Peace Council.

The program was held on February 17, 2018, in the southeast Albanian town of Bilisht.

After an explanation of the UPF Peace Principles, the awarding of Ambassador for Peace certificates took place. The 10 recipients of the certificate included local intellectuals, businessmen and artists.

The second part of the program consisted of the election of a chairman and three vice chairmen for the new Bilisht Peace Council.

The event concluded with entertainment provided by the town’s artistic club.
