Dr. OtsukaDr. Katsumi Otsuka, Chairman, UPF Europe & Middle East

A citizen of Japan, Dr. Otsuka graduated from Kanazawa University and from the Unification Theological Seminary in the United States. As president of the student movement World-CARP Japan, he organized world conventions and initiated solidarity meetings among students and youth from Japan, Korea, Russia and China in the 1980s and 1990s. He served as president of the Family Federation for World Peace and Unification in Japan, as president of the Corporation for Building the Japan-Korea Tunnel, and as the leader of numerous organizations, focusing on the reunification of the Korean Peninsula. He is currently the Chair of the Universal Peace Federation in Europe and the Middle East.

This online ILC is finishing now with great success. We could achieve many more than expected in last three days. Great!!

On behalf of the UPF Europe and the Middle East, let me express my deep thanks to your cooperation. Looking back on the last several days, I was very impressed by the enthusiastic work of the African UPF. Thank you very much UPF Africa and Dr. Kathy Rigney.

I want to send my special thanks to the Chairman of Europe, Dr. Mike Balcomb, and the Chairman of Africa, Dr. Bakari Camara. This ILC was well organized with your support.

Finally, I would like to thank all the staff and people who worked for the success of this conference.

I hope we can you soon at next conference in the future.
