Hosted by a member of the EU Parliament in Brussels, Flavio Zanonato, Women's Federation for World Peace Europe (WFWP-Europe) brought over 130 participants from throughout Europe to debate the theme, "Engaging Civil Society to Build Security and Cohesion in Europe" on June 29, 2016. Speakers included European Parliamentarians, United Nations experts, academics, journalist, educators, researchers and NGO leaders. Supporting organisations included the World Youth Alliance, the Universal Peace Federation and Women without Borders.

Experts from very diverse fields addressed the causes and consequences of the very serious trend in youth radicalisation in Europe, aiming to provide useful information and recommendations. to the European Parliament, who do not know how to solve these issues.

Both WFWP and UPF spoke in the sessions and could provide some thoughts about our Founders vision and strategy for these current problems. What can be done by parents, peers and educational and governmental institutions to replace the desperation and hopelessness among young immigrants in Europe? How can we cooperate in finding solutions and in becoming a truly caring "Human Family" committed to leave "no one behind" ?

The first debate focused on : The Role of Mothers in the Prevention of Radicalisation of Youth" and the second looked more at the "Role of Education, Religion and Culture..." in both causing and solving the disenfranchisement and extremist tendencies among youth.

The following are biographies of the speakers for whom no written material is available, but whose presentations can be viewed in the videos below :
