IAFLP is a project of Universal Peace Federation’s International Summit Council for Peace (ISCP). IAFLP affirms and uplifts the unique and essential role of First Ladies in contributing to peace and development. IAFLP, in collaboration with the Women’s Federation for World Peace, brings together current and former First Ladies worldwide, drawing upon their experience and wisdom as women leaders and as role models who serve their countries and societies in essential and significant ways.

The International Summit Council for Peace (ISCP) was initiated by UPF co-founder Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon (Mother of Peace) on February 8, 2019. ISCP is an international network of current and former heads of state and government, who, through dialogue and collaboration, explore solutions and offer recommendations to address the world’s critical problems, including climate and environmental issues, religious conflicts, poverty, war, corruption, and family breakdown.
Contributing to ISCP, the International Association of First Ladies for Peace provides First Ladies worldwide a forum where their wisdom, experiences and initiatives can be shared in service of global peace and for the betterment of humankind.
