This website is managed by the Universal Peace Federation (UPF) Europe and Middle East.

The statement is based on a review of a representative sample of web pages by the UPF Europe and Middle East webmaster using a combination of manual and automated testing.
Due to our limited resources as a small NGO, this initial testing was strictly confined to desktop web browsers. We have not yet had the capacity to conduct dedicated accessibility testing on mobile devices or mobile application environments. While we endeavor to make our mobile layout as responsive as possible, users navigating via smartphones or tablets may encounter untested barriers.

Known limitations for the UPF Europe and Middle East website:
- Video captions: Many of our videos do not have captions. We will endeavor to provide automatically generated captions on embedded videos going forward.
- Audio description: Videos on this website do not have audio description.
- Heading Hierarchy: Some headings may not follow the correct heading hierarchy, which can cause problems for screen reader users.
- Footer: Links in the footer are not always visually distinguishable from ordinary text.
- Images: Many images do not have a text alternative.
- Links: Download links do not provide a correctly accessible name.
- Downloads: The PDF documents available for download are not accessible.
- Blog Navigation: On category blog pages, keyboard users may have to tab through a non-clickable intro image before reaching the clickable article title.
- E-newsletter: The e-newsletter signup module and e-newsletters are not currently accessible. We are investigating this issue.
Disproportionate Burden:
Fixing some of these legacy issues (such as retrofitting all past PDFs and videos) currently represents a disproportionate burden on our limited resources, but we will try to make new content as accessible as possible.
