On September 21, 2025, — UPF Armenia celebrated the country’s Independence Day and International Day of Peace with a Peace Road activity.

The project was planned by two graduates of the Sokhumi (displaced) State University who had become Ambassadors for peace.

Since April 2022, Seyfulla Azər of UPF Azerbaijan has been working to preserve the Buzovna Rocks as a national monument.

On September 22, UPF Belarus organized a Peace Festival in honor of the International Day of Peace.

Young people from Poland, Ukraine and other countries joined together in a Peace Road event in the mountains from July 20^th till July 27^th 2024.

From June 18 to 21, 2024, volunteers in Armenia organized an international hike as part of the Peace Road project.

Korolevo, Belarus—Participants rode bicycles or ran to celebrate International Day of Peace.

Tbilisi, Georgia—The event included peace-themed activities for both adults and children.

Yeghegnadzor, Armenia—Sixteen participants hiked through mountainous terrain as a Peace Road event.

Minsk, Belarus—UPF volunteers went river rafting for four days as a Peace Road event.

Tbilisi, Georgia—UPF celebrated International Day of Peace 2022 by holding an online program for refugee children.

UPF-Canada / UPF-EUME—The second program in a series entitled “Viewing the DPRK from Within,” was broadcast from Montreal, Canada.

UPF-International—Dr. Stanislav Shushkevich, the former leader of Belarus and a member of the UPF Presiding Council, has passed away at age 87.

Europe and the Middle East—ILC2022 continued with a fourth session about the Peace Road Initiative.
