On August 18, 2024, 20+ volunteers joined our Peace Road event in Amsterdam’s famous Vondelpark in the Netherlands, where we gathered around a typical Dutch means of transport, a cargo bike and a banner. 20+ volunteers joined our Peace Road event in Amsterdam’s famous Vondelpark, where we gathered around a typical Dutch means of transport, a cargo bike and a banner. Conveying the peace messages of “No War, but Cooperation!!!” and “Connecting the World through PEACE” we became a harmonious group of all kinds of ages, races, nationalities and cultural backgrounds. We gave out flyers about the International Highway Project to passers-by in the city park on the summer afternoon of August 18. When people were asked if they could imagine going by car or train from Amsterdam to New York, surrounded by a peace zone, many were interested in accepting our pamphlet and agreed that cooperation for the benefit of all mankind, instead of waging war, could realize what has hitherto been thought impossible.
In the midst of a world full of hate, a message of peace out of love for God and humanity is like a breath of fresh air, especially when beautiful songs are sung in the background by guitarist, harmonica player and singer GianCarlo Dragonetti. Many walkers and cyclists who passed by were singing along with Mr. Dragonetti’s pop songs from the sixties, seventies and eighties of the last century. Ambassador of Peace, Mr. Abraham Fofana, from the Liberian Association in The Netherlands, also came to support. He joined in giving out the flyers.
