UPF-Italy Continues its Seminars for Married Couples — “Our Life Together”
In-Person Training Course for Couples
Following the awareness-raising meetings held at the civic hall of the Municipality of Paladina and the subsequent seven-session in-person training course conducted in 2025, the Universal Peace Federation of Italy (UPF), in cooperation with the Family Federation for World Peace and Unification (FFWPU), organised a further set of four meetings on the topic “Our Life Together” at the multipurpose hall in Ponte San Pietro, near Bergamo.
Each meeting took place over two sessions. In the first meeting, held on 14 March 2026, the topics addressed were “A Strong Connection” for the first session followed by “The Art of Communication”.
The second meeting took place a week later, on 21 March. The themes were “Resolving Conflict” for the first session and “The Power of Forgiveness” for the second.
The third meeting was hosted on 11 April. The first session was entitled “The Family Between Past and Present” and the second “Good Sexual Intimacy”.
The fourth and final meeting was conducted on 18 April, with the theme “Love in Action” for the first session followed by a concluding session dedicated to discussion and reflections from the participants.
The aim of these workshops was to strengthen both individual growth and, above all, the couple’s relationship with each other, so as to help foster solid bonds of affection and true love. The sessions, conducted by Mr. & Mrs. Giuseppe and Lorna Russo, were structured to give everyone the opportunity to participate actively, especially as spouses. Each session included the viewing of a stimulating and dynamic video presented by Mr. & Mrs. Nickolas and Sila Lee, founders of “The Marriage Course”. This provided a basis for the couples to carry out exercises together and to encourage sincere, open, and constructive dialogue. In total, thirteen couples and three single participants preparing for marriage took part.
It was a very positive experience for everyone, with each session producing its own deep reflections by those taking part, culminating at the end of the course. The atmosphere was consistently constructive and marked by enthusiasm, spirituality and commitment, with participants following the programme attentively. This raised the possibility of holding another such seminar in the near future, expressed by all those present, with the intention of inviting even more engaged and married couples to attend.
