On 20-22 December, 2024, the Universal Peace Federation (UPF) Albania and the Family Federation for World Peace and Unification (FFWPU) Albania, an affiliated organisation, held a seminar at the Montefila Hotel in the beautiful and historic city of Ulcinj in Montenegro. The theme was "Love God, Love People, Love Nation”. Present were about fifty-five Ambassadors for Peace, Members of the Board, and Heads of Peace Councils, as well as various guests who came from twenty-one Albanian cities, including Tetovo and Tuz. The guest of honour was Mr. Jacques Marion, Regional Chairman of UPF Europe and the Middle East. Moderating the event was Mr. Dëfrim Methasani, Chairman of UPF Albania
The purpose of the seminar was to familiarise the Ambassadors for Peace with a deeper understanding of the principles of peace and leadership, which is the philosophy of UPF. The event also served as an opportunity for the leaders of the different peace councils, who attended with their spouses, to get acquainted with each other. The aim was for everyone to feel a sense of belonging in a family, a family of peace. The programme included a relaxing visit to the beautiful coastal city of Ulcinj. The highlight of the event was the presentation of the Ambassador for Peace Award to four nominees.
On closing the seminar, all participants and guests were given a special Thank You for making this important symposium a complete success. It was the cherry on the cake of the more than seventy activities organised by the Universal Peace Federation Albania for the year 2024.
