Budapest, Hungary - 25 September, 2024 - UPF Hungary held a meeting in order to establish a working group on peacebuilding. The purpose of setting up the working group was to bring UPF's perspective and vision on peacebuilding to some of our peace ambassadors who want to be more active and to take action.
The topic of the current meeting was "Alternatives to Peacebuilding." Presentations were given to provide an outline of the concept of "One family under God" and the possibility was discussed of putting it into practice. A short introductory presentation was given by Mrs Erzsébet Sturmné Tomka, President of UPF Hungary. The discussion was held in a small group, but in a good atmosphere. This was the second such meeting. After the discussion, concrete proposals were made by the Ambassadors for Peace.
Several Ambassadors for Peace indicated that they would like to repeat this presentation and the subsequent discussion online, as some others were unable to attend and would like to make up for it.
